Find Out About Our Tours

3 Hour Morning Paddle $90 with picnic

Explore Victoria’s scenic coastline and surrounding islets. During a picnic stop in a Bull Kelp forest, our experienced guides will share with you their knowledge of our diverse ecosystem. Vancouver Island is rich in marine wildlife; we’ll visit with Harbour Seals, River Otters, Great Blue Herons, Bald Eagles and Canada Geese. It’s ocean kayaking at its best and we provide the picnic. Guided daily at 9 am, reservations required.

2 Hour Tour $59

Paddle the sheltered bays and hidden coves of Victoria’s waterfront or see the city’s historic port from a unique perspective. This tour is ideal for novice paddlers and families with children 7 years and older. There will be  a brief harbour orientation and kayak instruction followed by a 90 minute paddle. Guided daily at 1 pm and 4 pm.

Evening Paddle $59

When the sun is low in the sky and the city rests, the otters and mink emerge to hunt for dinner. As the setting sun transforms the harbour in colour is the best time to be on the water. On calm evenings we venture outside the harbour to watch seals feeding in the kelp forest. Guided daily at 7 pm.

Kayak tours of Victoria’s Inner Harbour
and its scenic waterfront.

Located at Fisherman’s Wharf, Victoria, BC, we are minutes by kayak to the Juan de Fuca Strait.

Experience sea kayaking at its best. Paddle with us outside the harbour and along the coastline to see harbour seals and river otters, or sit back and enjoy a leisurely kayak while you explore the protected waters of the harbour and Selkirk waterway. Tour Victoria from a new perspective and have chance encounters with harbour seals, river otters, great blue herons, bald eagles and many species of migrating seabirds.

We provide all the necessary gear, including lifejackets and spray skirts, plus paddling jackets, gloves, dry bags for cameras and drinking water. We also have excellent guides to teach you all about our west coast marine ecosystem.

Our floating location at Fisherman’s Wharf is a short walk from downtown and near the cruise ship terminal, 1 Dallas Rd. There are float homes to explore, restaurants and a chance to feed a harbour seal. Plus you can store items with us while you are kayaking.

We include a lesson with every tour so beginners and children seven and older are welcome! We discuss the kayak safety equipment and how to use it, how best to paddle and steer the kayak and because Victoria is a very busy harbour, we will guide you safely across the floatplane runway and harbour traffic lanes.

On our “jet dock” kayak launch you won’t even get your feet wet

Just layer lightly, most days a t-shirt is fine because we generate heat as we paddle. Cooler times might require light layers like a long sleeve shirt under our paddling jackets.
