Find Out About Our Tours

3 Hour Morning Paddle $90

Explore Victoria’s scenic coastline and surrounding islets. When the conditions allow we will visit the Harbour Seal Rookeries and during a picnic stop in a Bull Kelp forest, our experienced guides will share with you their knowledge of our diverse ecosystem. Vancouver Island is rich in marine wildlife; Harbour Seals, River Otters, Great Blue Herons, Black Oystercatchers, Kingfishers, Bald Eagles, and of course the abundant Canada Geese! The morning is the best time to be on the water; when the wind is light and often the tide is low.  Please book no later than 12 hours before so we can prepare enough food for the picnic.

Guided daily at 9 am.

2 Hour Tour $59

Paddle the sheltered bays and hidden coves of Victoria’s waterfront or see the city’s historic port from a unique perspective, where we go depends on the conditions.  This tour is ideal for novice paddlers and families with children 7 years and older.  Guided daily at 1 pm and 4pm.

Evening Paddle $59

During long days of summer, the setting sun transforms Victoria’s harbour in colour.  Often when the city is still, the otters or mink emerge to hunt for dinner.  On calm evenings we may venture outside the harbour to watch seals feeding in the kelp forest.

Guided daily at 7 pm May 30 – Aug 30.

Kayak tours of Victoria’s Inner Harbour
and its scenic waterfront.

Located at Fisherman’s Wharf, Victoria, BC, we are minutes by kayak to the Juan de Fuca Strait.

Experience sea kayaking at its best. Paddle with us outside the harbour and along the coastline to see harbour seal rookeries or explore the hidden coves and protected waters of the inner harbour. Tour Victoria from a new perspective and have chance encounters with harbour seals, river otters, great blue herons, bald eagles and many species of migrating seabirds.

We provide all the necessary gear, including lifejackets and spray skirts, plus paddling jackets, gloves, dry bags for cameras and drinking water. We also have excellent guides to teach you all about our west coast marine ecosystem.

Our floating location at Fisherman’s Wharf is a short walk from downtown and near the cruise ship terminal, 1 Dallas Rd. There are float homes to explore, restaurants and a chance to feed a harbour seal. Plus you can store items with us while you are kayaking.

We include a lesson with every tour so beginners and children seven and older are welcome! We discuss the kayak safety equipment and how to use it, how best to paddle and steer the kayak and because Victoria is a very busy harbour, we will guide you safely across the floatplane runway and harbour traffic lanes.

On our “jet dock” kayak launch you won’t even get your feet wet

Just layer lightly, most days a t-shirt is fine and on cooler days we’ll have a paddling jacket for you.  We will generate heat as we paddle.
